exciting than a Lake Michigan deep water Steelhead
fishing trip, Our specialty! Mid-June to mid-July is
the prime time for this exceptional fishing
experience. Our deep water Steelhead trips may take
us 20-25 miles off shore, and it is not uncommon to
have 40-50 bites per day! The deep water Steelhead
trip is offered as a full day charter only.
Manistee receives the largest number of fish
plantings each year. The Big and Little Manistee
Rivers empty into Lake Michigan at Manistee making
it the hub of fishing activity for the whole
Midwest.
Giant Chinook Salmon have made Manistee
fishing legendary and offer some of the most
exciting fishing in the world today! The mature
Salmon returning to the Manistee area are fierce
fighters and can weigh over 30 pounds!
Manistee enjoys great Brown Trout fishing, the
best Steelhead fishing in the Midwest, and good
numbers of Lake Trout can be caught at any time.
These three species alone are enough to make a super
fishery. |

Our service includes:
USCG approved charter boats.
Experienced licensed captains.
All fishing equipment is furnished.
Fish will be cleaned and bagged.
We can arrange lodging at a nearby motel, or
bring your camper and stay at one of our on-site
campsites.
Daily licenses can be purchased at the
Fisherman's Center.
Your trip begins with a scenic boat ride on the
Manistee River, through downtown Manistee along our
River walk.
